In 2010, the Production Team continued to fulfil market demand, both in the kretek and white segments. This was done through an increase in capacity for both machine-made and hand-made kretek cigarettes. In addition, our key initiatives in 2010 included the transfer and consolidation of the white cigarette manufacturing facility from Cirebon to Malang.
We also implemented a number of innovations in the area of processing and production, aimed at supporting product development initiatives to help achieving our growth strategies.
Alignment to the BAT Group was done in key processes to ensure the superiority of our products and continuously improve our processes to meet the international best practise requirements.
