Born and brought up in Kenya, Jeremy did all his  schooling there, before going to the UK for his further education. Jeremy has a London University degree in Biology and Statistics and after 4 years as an Army officer in the British Army, worked for a number of companies – Rothmans, Citibank and RJR International, based in numerous places – Abidjan, UK, Reunion and Geneva. Jeremy joined British American Tobacco in January 1996, as a GM designate and was appointed Managing Director British American Tobacco Kenya in July 1996, based in Nairobi. In May 2000, Jeremy was called back to the UK and appointed Head of eVolution in the new Imagine eVolution Team. Jeremy was appointed MD & CEO of Pakistan Tobacco Company in September, 2002, based in Islamabad – a post he held until October 2005 when he was appointed as Area Director, Sub Saharan Africa, based in Nairobi, Kenya. Jeremy has just been appointed as Area Director Indonesia, based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Andrew Willem Joubert, Director

Andre joined BAT in 1999 as Operations Finance Manager in South Africa right before the merger between BAT and Rothmans. After 2 years in Operations, he joined the Marketing team as Marketing Finance Manager for 2 years before taking over the FD ZimZam area role. He then went on to become the FD in Switzerland where he contributed towards changing the business around to growth in profit and share growth whilst migrating from Barclay to Kent. Andre then left BAT to join a family business in SA during 2009. He returned to BAT during July 2010 as head of finance of the combined Indonesia business including Bentoel.

He was born in Jakarta 1964, was appointed as Company Director since May 2008. He Graduated from University of Wollongong, Australia majoring in Accounting and Economics in 1987. His career began as Head of Settlement at PT Jardine Fleming Nusantara in1989, he left in 1994. Then he worked for Equitor Group Standar Chartered Bank as Operations Manager, then 1996 he joined PT UBS Warburg Indonesia as Chief Operating Officer. He joined the Company as Corporate Secretary in 2000 which he held until 2006 and then appointed as Head of Finance and Accounting. He is currently the COmpany Chief FInancial Officer.

He was born in Jogjakarta in 1953, and was appointed as Company Director since May 2008. He graduated from University of Gajahmada in 1980 with degree in Chemical Engineering. His careerbegan at PT HM Sampoerna as Process Engineer in 1983; he was Head of Primary Processing untill 1992, and he was Head of Manufacturing until 2003. He joined the Company in 2004 as Chief Production Officer.
