Production

The operational and product quality excellence was obtained through solid team work and commitment of the working group with the team related to production line. They were able to meet the market demand by increasing the production capacity in the last few years that in line with the continous growing sales projections. In term of quality, the Company has been able to reduce the number of customer complaints by 47.9%.

To anticipate the future challenge, in Company has implemented such strategy related to quality improvement and increase production capacity by investing on production machineries and equipments This started with the installations of new cutting line machineries in Primary Processing, and new makers and packers machineries in Secondary Processing were installed.

In addition to those machineries in Primary and Secondary Processing, the Company has built Green Leaf Threshing Plant (GLT-plant) equipped with central warehousing in Randuagung; its total area is 15 hectares with total investment of around Rp 350 billion. Production capacity of this GLT-plant is 8 tonnes per hour, and warehousing storage capacity is 16,000 tonnes.

For the purpose of improving the production capacity of Hand-rolled cigarette, the Company has built SKT plant in Ngadilangkung with total investment of around Rp15.5 billion, and the plan has production capacity of 36 million sticks per week. With the operation of this new plant, SKT production process is more efficient in producing quality product.

The requierement of premium quality product is the Company focus in SKM production plant, therefore by renoving of the production facilities which designed with more efficient production process, and Karanglo Plant 2 become the main plant for SKM production.

Solid team work in developing strategic programs which intended for improving the operational excellence and implementation of quality system consistently, are in line with the Company vision, mission and corporate values. All these are the key for improving Company competitiveness by producing quality products.
